Farming at Elevation: What Does A Beginning Grower Need to Know?

Elicia is the Farmer Training Program Manager at the Old Fort (7600’ in elevation). The Farmer Training Program offers an immersive farmer-in-training experience and incubator program. Elicia holds a BA in Environmental Analysis from Pomona College and a MA in Geography from the University of Minnesota. She began farming in 2011, at Green Gulch Farm Zen Center (100’ elevation).
