Guidestone provides unique learning opportunities for Salida School District students. We have designed garden programs that meet Colorado State Science Standards from Pre-K to 6th grade, which are provided through field trips to the garden, classroom visits, or a combination of both. We also work with Middle School and High School classes to custom design programs that meet their academic needs.
We focus our garden education programs in the Spring starting around Earth Week, in April, through May, and in the Fall, wrapping up around National Food Day in October. If you are interested in education programming at other times of the school year, we will do our best to accommodate your schedule. To schedule education programs at the Salida School Gardens, please don’t hesitate to contact: [email protected] or call (719)239-0955.
