Welcome to Colorado Land Link!
Thank you for taking the time to visit our site. Below you will find more information about Colorado Land Link and how it works for Landseekers, including beginning and next generation farmers and ranchers.
What is Colorado Land Link and how does it work for Landseekers?
Colorado Land Link, a program of Guidestone Colorado, helps beginning and next generation farmers and ranchers find access to land and resources needed to launch successful agricultural businesses. Guidestone and partners work with agricultural landowners and transitioning producers to assess the viability for a match on their land and/or business succession. The Land Link program holds a private database of Landseekers and existing land opportunities and offers assistance with facilitating these matches by helping to assess the goals, competencies and readiness of both parties involved. In addition, Land Link provides and promotes education and training opportunities and serves as a clearinghouse for information and resources, including key components and templates for equitable lease agreements and financing options.
How do I get started?
Step 1 – Submit a Landseeker Application
The first step in the Land Link process is to submit a Landseeker Application. By signing up, in addition to having your information held within the database, you will also receive monthly Land Link eNewsletters, which contain news and opportunities, information about regional workshops, and most importantly, ensures that you are a part of the Colorado Land Link community!
Step 2 – Resources and Matching Process
Once you have submitted the application, we will search our database of land opportunities and update you with the status of the search. Please be patient with this process as we receive far more requests than land opportunities. Regardless, we will begin sharing resources and opportunities with you as they arise.
If you have any further questions about this process, please contact [email protected] or call 719-239-0955.
